It might be apparent to many that I have NO idea what I am doing with HTML, so in the course of re-designing this site, it might go a bit funny for some site visitors.
As it stands, the page is fine if viewed using Mozilla Firefox - and to be fair if you don't use firefox; why not?
But the site looks quite gammy if viewed with Internet Explorer. Bear with me, it will get better.

Okay, sorted on Internet Explorer, but apparently it's still gay on AOL. But then, most things about AOL are gay. And I can't spell recommended either.

my mac is having a slight issue wioth the banner i will re jig the html in the banner when im over next - its not anything to worry about the rest of the site is looking good!
I think you're site looks fine to me. It seems to be working ok now. Maybe you've fixed it though. One advice, don't put a big picture on the right side, maybe it's the reason why it's breaking up in IE.
